Whee!!! I’m so happy! Am I not the only one who thinks Australia is getting noticed by Nintendo?

Ok, so here’s what’s going on, You can download Darkrai to either Pokemon Diamond or Pearl at any Target store in Australia between Thursday Oct 30th and Sunday Nov 9th. Hopefully, it’s happening Australia-wide, and not just in Metro areas.

Once again, yay! 🙂

Anyone know where I can get a costume like this? September 29, 2008

I bought the Guinness World Records Gamers Edition a few weeks ago, and there’s actually a lot of cool world records out there to do with Pokemon! Like for example:

According to Twin Galaxies, the world record for the Ruby stage of Pokemon Pinball RS is 835,534,199 (Set by Justin Hochgraefe from US) while the record for the Saphire stage is 348,472,220 (Set by Terrence O’Neil from US)

According to Twin Galaxies, the fastest completion time for Pokemon Red/Blue is 2 hours 9 minutes (Set by Ben Goldberg on 12/4/2007), while the fastest completion for Gold/Silver is 4 hours 15 minutes (Set by James Bunkley 10/10/2005)

Pokemon is the most successful RPG series of all time, selling 155M units worldwide. The only non-RPG series more popular is the Mario franchise, making Nintendo the most successful videogame publisher ever

PokePark in Nagoya, Japan (which opened on 18/3/2005) was the first gaming series themepark. It closed on 25/9/2005

The fastest selling Pokemon instalment is Pokemon Diamond/Pearl with sales reaching 1M units after just 8 days. It has since sold 12.1M copies worldwide

The Pokemon videogames have inspired 10 (soon to be 11) feature-length animated movies, making it the videogame series with the most spin-off movies. The first Pokemon movie is also the 2nd most popular videogame-inspired movie in the US box office (just behind Tomb Raider) making $85,744,662 USD during its run
