On Youtube, there’s Question of the Moment. On here, there’s Site of the Moment!

WARNING! THE BELOW LINK(S) IS NSFW!

According to 4chan, rule 34 is:

“Rule 34: If it exists, there is porn of it.”

For yonks, I’ve been trying to find a site where you can find all the rule 34 you can. Well, I’ve found it!

http://rule34.paheal.net

Rule 34 covers everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. There’s a whole lot of stuff like Dora the Explorer, Ice Age, etc. Yep. Everything that is from your childhood has been drawn into porn. And other people enjoy….. wait, is that Monsters Inc? Oh, fuck you internet. FUCK YOU.

Australia’s internet to become like China’s November 7, 2008

I recently read in a forum (which shall remain unnamed) that the Australian government is planning to censor the Internet.

Now, mind my language, but this is fucked-up for many reasons:

  • Australia’s already slow internet will be able to be outran by a snail, with reports by ACMA that the 5 of the 6 filters used in a lab test slowed down Internet access by 21%, up to 86% (one filter dropped Internet speed by 22% even when it WASN’T filtering).
  • People will not be able to opt-out of this scheme, only being able to opt-out of a second filter which blocks what the govt. deems “Inappropriate” content.
  • The filter causes so many false positives, it’s not funny (as I’ve seen using Department of Education computers).
  • All the filters that were tested had problems with “Under-blocking”, allowing acces to 2-13% of material that should be blocked.
  • The most accurate filters are often the slowest.

Also, the government already provides online filters for free at thier NetAlert site, which begs the question, why do we need an ISP filtering system? Are the filters they provide simply not good enough? It sortof contradicts itself, doesn’t it?

So, here’s an overview of what will happen once this plan comes into force.

  • XBOX Live, Nintendo WFC, PlayStation Network = Completely fucked
  • Access to P2P sites = Sorry!
  • Being able to order dildos on-line = Out of the question
  • Chatting to people online = Not being able to without thinking someones listening (or reading) in.
  • Peoples freedoms on the internet = Tied up and ass-raped

SO, IN CONLUSION, INTERNET FILTER VIA A PROGRAM = ACCEPTABLE, ISP-WIDE FILTERING = UNNACEPTABLE, CAPS LOCK = CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL.
